Idaho Physical Labor Team

The physical labor team is planning a variety of projects to work on while we are at the children’s ranch. We will be having the majority of the youth going on the trip participating in these projects. After talking with Jeff Turner from the ranch, the needs we are going to meet include………….. moving a horse shelter, moving fencing and brush for a bridal park, and repainting the outer basketball court. By doing this, we are hoping to improve and make the environment for these kids more pleasant and functional.

Idaho Ministry Team

The ministry team is led by Diana Hale and Brandi Mills. They direct four high school students to make this mission trip more than just a work project. Laura Schaudt, Teresa Martini, Allisyn Edmonds, and Ellisa Barr are working together to connect with all of the staff and families on the ranch on a personal level. They plan to do yard work, house cleaning, and babysitting for the families throughout the day and then provide activities to bond with the kids in the evenings. Having the church help in both prayer and funds is very important to this ministry. The funds would go towards “luxury” items such as cereal, no-show socks, and body wash for the kids. Thanks for reading up on our project and we hope that you will help us bless them.

Girls Service on the Waterfront

A small group of us decided it would be fun to serve the children in the community of Corvallis by offering free face painting and treats down at the fountains near the water front. The weather was beautiful and there was a large crowd of children that came through. We had a lot of fun. We met some really great kids and even a great big lizard :) We were able to connect with some people and invite them to our summer celebration in the park.
